The Huntington Grange #2043 formerly was located on the north east corner of State Route 162 and State Route 58. The building was erected by a Baptist Church in 1842. The Grange took ownership in 1977. The Grange was a large part of local farmer’s social lives, known for square dancing and for many years served meals at the Lorain County Fair. In 2003 the building was sold to Huntington Township. The Grange disbanded as of December 31, 2012. As the final Master, Ray Twining cites a dwindling member base as the reason for the closing of the Grange Group. The Township sold the building to AMVET in May of 2016. The AMVETS are currently still managing rentals of the building as well as tables and chairs.
